Import an existing manuscript

Bring an existing file into a structured project without losing the original source.

How to do it

    Open Sources and select the import path that matches your file.

    Review the detected title, headings, chapters, and warnings.

  3. 3

    Choose whether detected sections become chapters or source notes.

  4. 4

    Keep the original file until you have verified the imported structure and downloaded a backup.
